CE.SDK v1.78 is a typography and reliability release. It adds a dedicated path control for curved text on the web, alongside a broad set of engine and editor fixes across web, mobile, and backend.
Let’s dive in.
More Expressive Typography
Curve Text with a Dedicated Path Control on the Web
The web editor gains a Path control for text blocks. Users can place text on a curve using Circle, Arch, and Wave presets, then adjust position, direction, and offset directly in the inspector.
For custom shapes, Edit Path lets users draw their own baseline instead of picking a preset, so text can follow whatever curve a design calls for. This builds on the text-on-path support added in v1.77.

Improvements
Keep Edited Text Above the Mobile Keyboard
On mobile web, the canvas reserves space for the on-screen keyboard and pans to the text cursor, so the text being edited stays visible while typing.
Browse Typefaces Smoothly on Slow Networks
The web typeface library shows font names immediately and loads previews lazily as rows scroll into view, keeping the picker responsive on low-end devices.
Refresh iOS Asset Libraries Automatically
On iOS, an open library updates in place when its source’s contents change, matching the web editor.
Stability and Fixes
This release includes a broad set of stability, performance, and rendering fixes across the engine and editors. Among them: a Safari video-export fix for projects that contain uploaded video, faster handling of large caption files, curved-text caret and selection fixes, iOS effect-sheet and web keyboard-accessibility fixes, and archive-loading crash guards. See the changelog for the full list.
Changelog
All improvements, breaking changes, and fixes are in the v1.78.0 changelog.
