Use GIFs in Your Designs on Web and Mobile

GIFs are now fully integrated into the CE.SDK UI. Add and manage animated images like any other media asset. Drop a GIF into your timeline to play it once, or create a loop by extending its duration. You’re in control.

This update delivers a consistent experience across Web and Mobile, empowering dynamic content creation for social media, marketing, and beyond.

Getting Started:
GIF support itself is built-in—no setup required.
However, to add looping, enable the looping option in your assets. Find platform-specific guidance in our docs:

Add A Cinematic Ken Burns Animation

Give your images a cinematic touch with the new crop-zoom animation in CE.SDK. Inspired by the Ken Burns effect, this feature lets you smoothly pan and zoom across images, creating dynamic storytelling without complex editing.

Apply the Ken Burns animation directly from the CE.SDK animation library on the web. Learn how to use animations and their properties with our documentation.

Add Text Backgrounds on iOS

Make your text pop! Apply solid color backgrounds to text on iOS. Additionally, adjust the padding and rounded corners of your text background.

This feature ensures readability and adds a polished, professional touch to your designs. By elevating text design, your app helps users create visually compelling content that stands out. Available for Web and iOS, soon on Android!

Speed Up Your HDR Video Editing

We’ve dramatically accelerated HDR-to-SDR video conversion in CE.SDK on iOS. While HDR videos previously required lengthy processing, especially for 4K content, they now convert to SDR with minimal delay, letting users start editing their footage faster than ever before.

Stay tuned: Smooth HDR-to-SDR conversion will also be available for Web with CE.SDK v1.50.

Welcome to the latest update of CE.SDK. We are bringing you new features that enhance your app’s creative capabilities and user experience. This release includes the highly requested Animations for Web and our Video Timeline for Android.

Animate On The Web

We’re introducing animation support for our Video Editor for the web. With this update, you can now apply various animations, such as blur, zoom, and slide, to elements directly within the editor.

Animate and Fine-Tune Settings

Select a ‘block’ on your canvas — that includes images, videos, text, shapes, and stickers. Then choose from twelve in-and-out animations or nine loop animations. Lastly, fine-tune your selected animation, by tweaking the properties, for custom movement and transition.

Edit Videos on Android

We are proud to launch our video editing and content creation tools for Android, following our tried and tested iOS launch. Get started with a fully customizable UI for video editing:

Now Android users can crop, split, trim, and compose videos. Add multiple elements—videos, photos, stickers, and more—to a timeline to create engaging content. Editing options like filters, effects, and audio tracks turn it into a one-stop solution for video creation.

Integrate your custom asset library for stock photos, videos, stickers, and music.

Animate Text

With the CE.SDK v1.36 animation release, you can already animate entire text blocks. For instance, you can slide in or fade out text. However, to create more intricate animations of letters, we are excited to announce a dedicated text animation release for web soon.
