v1.71 is a design capabilities release. Animations arrive on iOS, completing motion design across every platform. The web editor gets free layout mode. Variable fonts land across all platforms.

## Improvements

The web video timeline now focuses on the active track by default, hiding other tracks to reduce visual noise. Users can still access everything, but the default view keeps attention on what they're actually editing.
