This release brings instant animation previews, new playback-speed control for clips, and smoother audio handling on mobile. All aimed at making motion design and media playback more intuitive for your users and more reliable for your app.

Let’s dive in!

## Preview Your Animations Instantly

CE.SDK now plays a **live preview** whenever you add or update an animation. Your users can immediately see how their animations behave without pressing “play,” making it faster to fine-tune motion and create polished results.

For your app, that means smoother editing workflows, less trial and error, and a more professional user experience out of the box.

## Fine-Tune Playback Speed for Clips

Our CE.SDK **engine** now supports playback speed control for videos, GIFs, and audio. Developers can programmatically adjust speed using `setPlaybackSpeed` and `getPlaybackSpeed`.

**Preview: Adjust Video Speed in the Editor**

![Preview: In our upcoming release, your users can adjust video speed easily.](https://blog.img.ly/2025/10/video-speed-preview-UI.jpg)

Within our next releases, your users will be able to fine-tune video speed right inside the **editor**, using an intuitive user interface for the Web.

This will give creators more control over pacing and style, from slow-motion moments to fast-cut edits. Let users craft more dynamic, platform-ready content for social media without leaving your app.

## Improvements

**Smarter Audio Handling Across Platforms**
On iOS and Android, the audio device is now **lazy-initialized**. This means, it will activate only when audio starts playing. This reduces energy use and improves reliability after pauses or process restarts.
